Meet Dr. Son D. Le, the visionary founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Spine, Joint, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation, with locations in Brentwood, Murfreesboro, and Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Since establishing the center in 2002, Dr. Le has been dedicated to transforming lives by offering innovative, nonsurgical solutions for pain relief. His comprehensive, multi-faceted approach empowers patients to regain mobility and reclaim their quality of life—without the need for invasive procedures.

Dr. Le’s journey began with a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from The Chicago Medical School. He honed his expertise as Chief Resident during his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Chicago’s Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital. Today, he brings decades of experience and a passion for healing to every patient he serves.

A leader in his field, Dr. Le is triple board-certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABMM), and the American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM). His expertise spans advanced minimally invasive procedures, diagnostic and therapeutic injections, responsible pain management, emotional pain counseling, and functional rehabilitation through tailored physical therapy.

Dr. Le is deeply committed to advancing patient care and stays at the forefront of his profession as an active member of prestigious organizations, including the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM), the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM), and the Spine Intervention Society (SIS).

Rachel Rome, MD

Dr. Rachel Rome is a highly skilled physician with a diverse background in anesthesia, pain management, and regenerative medicine. Her commitment to individualized patient care, innovative treatment approaches, and her prioritization of utilizing a holistic approach has made her a respected figure in the medical community. She received her undergraduate degree from Christian Brothers University and her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. She continued her medical training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia where she completed her Anesthesia residency and Pain Management fellowship.

Over the past 15 years, Dr Rome has had the privilege of serving our community as a clinician as well as Medical Director at several local clinics including: Mindful Infusions of TN, David Price Regenerative Medical Center, LifeLinc Pain, and Empatia Palliative Care. Leveraging her extensive expertise across diverse medical specialties, she enriches patients’ lives through personalized and compassionate care.

In our local community, she has been at the forefront of providing innovative anesthesia services, specializing in ketamine administration for the treatment of behavioral health and pain disorders. She has provided compassionate care to countless patients and she looks forward to continuing her journey of impact at the Center for Spine, Joint, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation.

Ashleigh Ames, PA-C

Ashleigh Ames is a Physician Assistant at Center for Spine, Joint and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation. Ashleigh earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, LA. ​Ashleigh is Tennessee licensed and board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Ashleigh resides in Middle Tennessee. She enjoys working with patients and trying to find a solution that works best to allow patients to live a more pain-free and active lifestyle.

Chelsea Sparkman, PA-C

Chelsea Sparkman is a Physician Assistant at Center for Spine, Joint and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. She completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. Chelsea is Tennessee licensed and board-certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She has received awards as an outstanding provider for her hard work and quality care. ​Chelsea resides in Middle Tennessee with her family. She enjoys working with patients and offers compassionate care to her patients while providing an individualized solution that works best to allow patients to live a more pain-free and active lifestyle.

Courtni Dunn, PA-C

Courtni Dunn is a Physician Assistant at the Center for Spine, Joint, and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Middle Tennessee State University. Courtni is Tennessee licensed and board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Courtni is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and values taking the time to understand each patient’s unique needs. She works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving function, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.
